Greg has a passion for the gospel, families, and the unity and loving witness of Christ’s Church. As Care Net’s Executive Director of Church Outreach & Engagement, Greg is dedicated to serving churches in their implementation Making Life Disciples, a ministry resource that equips individuals to offer compassion, hope, and help to women and men facing unplanned pregnancies.
Before coming to Care Net, Greg worked for National Fatherhood Initiative for eleven years. A seasoned pastor, communicator, and community strategist, Greg’s background is a mix of vocational work in the non-profit, community, faith-based, and business worlds. He has worked in a variety of denominations and is currently licensed in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC). Greg holds a D.Min. from Westminster Theological Seminary, a M.Div. from Southern Seminary, and a B.S. from Cairn University.
Greg writes a weekly blog at carpentertheologian.com and lives in the Greater Philadelphia area with his wife of thirty-three years, Pam. Together they have three married children and four grandchildren. Under the care and oversight of Ashland, Greg has also been pursuing planting a church, Mantua Creek Church, in Gloucester County, NJ.
